Charlie Hunnam, widely recognized for his portrayal of Jax in Sons of Anarchy, is set to star as the infamous serial killer Ed Gein. While the rest of the cast has yet to be revealed, Hunnam's role will focus on Gein, also known as the "Butcher of Plainfield." Born in 1906, Gein was arrested in 1957 following the disappearance of Bernice Worden, a local hardware store owner. When authorities searched his property, they uncovered a gruesome array of human remains, including organs and clothing fashioned from body parts.
